The Peterborough Idea
By Scott Riley
I wrote this paper for a music history course in Graduate School. I think it might have been a continuation of an earlier paper, because I grew up in Peterborough, NH and the McDowell Colony was always just there.
I believe this paper has value for designers and those interested in design because the subject of the project, Edward MacDowell, was a brilliant American Composer whose wife was dedicated to artistic growth and nurturing.
